They are voluntary medical staff that are independent contractors and practitioners who have been granted the privilege of using the hospitals’ facilities for the care and treatment of their patients. This includes, but is not limited to emergency department physicians, anesthesiologists, cardiologists, neonatologists, obstetricians, pathologists, radiologists, surgeons, the on call physician and other consultants who may treat you.
